Meet Sandra:
Hello, my name is Sandra Lewis Allen. I dedicated 30 years to education, serving in roles ranging from Bilingual/ESL Teacher and Curriculum Specialist to Assistant Principal, Testing Coordinator, Summer School Principal, and Director of Campus Operations. Throughout my career, I gained a deep understanding of the systems, leadership, and instructional practices that help students, educators, and schools succeed.
Over the years, I witnessed two recurring challenges. First, many parents were unable to effectively advocate for their children simply because they didn't know their educational rights or the resources available to them. Second, I saw schools and districts struggle with systems, planning, and instructional practices that directly impacted student achievement.
In retirement, I founded Educating With Sandra to address both needs. I partner with parents to help them confidently navigate the educational system and advocate for their children. I also work alongside schools, charter organizations, and districts to strengthen instructional systems, improve campus operations, develop strategic plans, and create sustainable solutions that support student success.
Whether I'm empowering a parent or collaborating with educational leaders, my mission remains the same: to help every student have access to a high-quality education through informed advocacy, strong leadership, and effective educational systems. I am honored to connect with organizations like TOPAA and others that share this commitment to educational excellence.
